Wow, what a great day. Thank you to all the players, parents and helpers for making today a success.
Only 4 weeks ago this wasn't happening, but by coming together we managed to pull off this new idea that I hope will become a regular feature in the Royals calender.
We watched some great football, some drama of penalty shoot outs and witnessed the future of our club. We also raised some funds for the club along the way.
I would like to personally thank all the many helpers who made this happen and to Nat Howe who coordinated the helpers and Ian Howe who kept the day running smoothly. Thanks to everyone who donated cakes and to the ladies who managed the stall. You all did a great job. Well done!
We even finished off with a Senior match to raise funds for St Catherine's hospice. Well done Gary Brown and all the Senior Royals for making this happen.
