Sponsorship Parent Helper: Working alongside our Club Treasurer. This really is an exciting opportunity to deliver our Exclusive Sponsorship opportunities to the wider market. Local business needs to know we are looking for their support and you will want to make sure they know about it.

Balls, bibs and first aid kits are some of the FA key requirements the club adhere to and the managers would love your help. You don't need to know about football, just good at organising and ordering. A shoppers paradise!
Following our most successful Presentation Day in the clubs 21 year history, our focus and attention now switch’s to preparations for the 2019 / 2020 season. With over 260 registered players across 13 teams, U6’s Development, U7 Pre-League and 2 Senior’s Teams, we certainly have a lot more organising and planning than ever before!
Southwater Royals FC welcomes parents and volunteers, and we very much value the help and support they provide. Helpers usually commit to spending a regular slot of time helping our Managers and Committee each week, but there are opportunities for parents to become more involved if they wish, for example helping to organise our club events.
It is also possible for parents to help run our open training sessions – for many of the children a first introduction to grassroots football..
Our parents and volunteers help in a variety of ways; for example,
monitoring a safe area on the side lines during games
helping Team Managers communicate essential information to your team
assist with team / parent meetings
work alongside Committee members, planning, coordinating key roles across the club
represent your team at monthly general committee meetings
help with promoting our club to prospective sponsors
help organising the bookings of training venues
assist on match day with pitch set up
join our open training sessions to assist the managers when teaching the children
Our parent helpers and volunteers prove to be invaluable when at every level; those who help regularly are already known to both the parents and the children, and this helps significantly with the organisation and support whilst ensuring all children have access to a familiar face while having fun playing football.
Adults helping with the children are always under the supervision of the FA Registered and qualified Team Manager or Coach, who explains the task, what is required of the children and the helper’s role within that setting.
All regular adults must have a clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate before helping with the children, reinforcing our commitment to achieving the FA Charter Standard and Safeguarding certification, something that we are passionate about, of course the club will assist with this application. Our team are committed to offering football to as many local boys and girls as possible.
In the first instance, please contact your Team Manager who would be delighted to hear from you and you can arrange and discuss how you can help with your team.
